Well, hello there!

So here I am writing my very first blog. I'm all a twitter with excitement! Not really.

I'm stating this blog so our families & friends can keep up with my husband & I a little better. We quite literally have people EVERYWHERE! Pennsylvania, Texas, Nevada, Mississippi, North Carolina, Arizona, Virginia, Illinois and here in Washington. Family reunions are a bitch!

I'll start out by telling all the folks who don't know me & my hubby a little bit about us. We've been together about 13 years married about 9. No kids yet. (we'll get to that later) We were friends about 2 years before we became a couple. But I knew from the moment I met him I wanted to be with him forever. It didn't even (at that point) matter if it was as a couple or not. He's the best friend I've ever had and I have more fun with him than I ever have with anyone and I have some super friends & family.

We've (I've) moved a lot. I was born & raised in Houston TX till I was 15. We moved to DuBois PA and that's were I met Terry. He finished school and we moved to Hampton Roads VA. Although the state of VA can be very nice, the area we lived in sucked for us. However if you ask a local it's God's Country! My question always was "Have you even been anyplace else?" Anyway for the last few years we lived there all we wanted was out so Terry being the brainy nerd he is he got a great job here in WA. It's beautiful here and we love it! I think we'll stay.

Now here we are in Seattle WA (hopefully for good) and jumping into adulthood with both feet. We just bought our first NEW car. A 2007 Subaru Outback named Lucy. Our 94 Jetta, Phoebe, is a very proud big sister. We have 2 cats, Smoke & Pepper and a dog named Snoopy. We're house shopping and trying to have a baby. We've only been at it for about 3 months but hopefully it won't take forever. I'm a instant gratification kind of girl! We'll see.

So anyway that's us in a nutshell. I hope I didn't put you to sleep.
